When Shapes Join
shapes (or figures) that can
be drawn on flat surfaces
are plane figures
Example:Triangle,
rectangle, square, Circle
TRIANGLE
A triangle is a plane figure.
It has 3 sides and 3 corners.
RECTANGLE
A rectangle is a plane
figure. It has 4 sides and
4 corners. It's opposite sides
are same length
SQUARE
A square is a plane figure. It
has 4 sides and 4 corners.
All sides are same length.
CIRCLE
A Circle is a plane figure. It
has no sides and no corners.
It has a curved face.
