  Lesson 10 Measuring Weights *Weight of objects are expressed using standard units. *Devices or Instruments[weighing machines] used to measure the weight of objects are Beam balance, Spring balance, Digital balance. *Weight of different values are used to weigh objects when balancing scales are  used * measuring units of measuring weight is gram or kilo gram. *gram is smaller unit for measuring weight. *Balance is the instrument used to measuring weight. 1000 Grams=1 kilo gram or 1000g=1kg *Spring balance, common balance, Weighing machine, Platform balance are instrument to find the weight things.   Lesson 6 Time 1st day[20/2/2021] *Clock, Watch, Digital watch are devices that shows time or measure time . *measuring time in hours , minutes  and seconds   This is a clock . It has 2 hands. The longer hand shows the minutes. The dial of a clock is divided into 5 equal parts. Each part is a minute. When minute hand completes one circle the hour hand moves by 1. That is an hour. The shorter hand shows the hours. 1 hour = 60 minutes In the clock given above the longer hand is at 12.Shorter hand is at 9. The time is  9 [9 O'clock]. We can write  9 O'clock as 9:00.
